NMBC launches webinar series dedicated to helping M/WBE’s deal with various issues including selling, managing and growing businesses.
August 3rd, 2007 (NEW YORK, NY.) — The National Minority Business Council announced the launching of NMBC Webinars, a series of webinars targeted to minority and women-owned businesses. NMBC Webinars was formally announced at the NMBC’s 35th Anniversary Celebration where Donald Monks, Vice Chairman, The Bank of New York; Stephen Dannhauser, Chairman, Weil, Gotsal and Manges LLP; and John Hoff, Vice President, Procurement & Real Estate, New York Power Authority were honored for their contribution and dedication to the M/WBE community for the last 35 years through their work on NMBC programs and services.
The NMBC has partnered with MBE, Genesis Networks, to deliver the webinar series using their Webinar To Go service. “We are working closely with the NMBC to deliver informative and affordable webinars to M/WBE’s,” Bruce Braithwaithe, President and Chairman, Genesis Networks and active member of the NMBC.
NMBC Webinars will be held monthly at a cost of $59.95 for NMBC member firms and $89.95 for non NMBC members.
The first NMBC Webinar is scheduled for October 10th, 2007. We will have speakers from Fortune 1000, government agencies and legal firms to discuss business opportunities and issues as a M/WBE.
